Cumberland Family Practice is a premier medical practice in Hendersonville, TN serving patients in Sumner county and the surrounding areas.
Started over 45 years ago in Hendersonville by Dr. Millard Smith, CFP has been able to grow due to its unwavering commitment to continuity of care and the establishment of strong relationships between the doctor and the patient.
As our patients age, we adjust their care to include continuous health-risk assessments and screening. We are especially proud of our success in helping older patients stay well and independent as long as possible. An important service we offer is the coordination of care of all the specialists involved in a patient's care.

Post-Acute Rehab
If you have experienced a traumatic injury, debilitating disease or received a certain type of surgery you may be admitted for post-acute rehabilitation (skilled nursing care).
This type of care is most appropriate for individuals who will benefit from intensive, multidisciplinary rehabilitation. Rehabilitation can include occupational, physical and speech therapy. All care is managed by specially trained physicians who are aware of all aspects of each patient’s care. The doctors at CFP have special certifications via AMDA-PALTC and are affiliated with NHC Sumner Place and NHC Hendersonville. We provide care at these facilities should you require post-acute rehab care.
